Mitch Skandalakis

A civil trial attorney since the 1980s

For four decades, Mitch Skandalakis has tried, investigated, and resolved injury cases across Georgia, on both sides of the courtroom. He knows how insurance companies value, delay, and defend claims, because early in his career he did that work for them. Now he uses that playbook for injured Georgians.

About Mitch

Four decades in Georgia courtrooms

An Atlanta native, Mitch graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1982 and began his career at a boutique litigation firm before defending insurance claims for a major carrier. He then built his own practice handling personal injury, small business litigation, and criminal defense, trying cases in courtrooms across Georgia.

That defense-side start matters for injured clients: Mitch evaluates every case the way the insurer will, then builds the evidence that defeats that evaluation. His cases are prepared for trial from the start, because insurers reserve their real offers for the lawyers who will actually walk into a courtroom. That preparation has produced seven-figure results, including a $1,000,000.00 product liability settlement for a child blinded by a defectively designed bottle cap.

Mitch also spent more than a decade leading high-stakes liability investigations as a corporate executive, including wrongful death claims, ultimately serving as Vice President over internal investigations supervising a team of ten investigators. Few plaintiff's lawyers in Georgia have run investigations at that scale. It shows in how Hardline builds a record: fast, thorough, and preserved before evidence disappears.
